Question '03 Corolla S & aftermarket rims/tires

Hi, I just bought this vehicle, now I want to jazz it up a bit.

A buddy of mine offered me his (barely used) 18" wheel package with run-flat Pirelli tires for an excellent price. About 90-93% tread on them.

Here's my question, will the stock wheel well be large enough for these to fit snug & not rub the base when I'm turning, going over small bumps, etc.? If so, how can I get around this little problem w/out spending too much $?

Thanks ahead of time guys.

I've always loved me a Yota.

^ I'm pretty sure that link answers my question. Why would they sell 18" wheels with low profile tires saying they fit fine and mine wouldn't, ya know?

I think I answered my own question, but I'd still like some comments from other 'rolla drivers

Those wheels were made for the 03 Matrix but will fit on the 03-04 Corolla with a tad bit of modification. The rear fender lip will need to be cut back and the front will run but only in extreme turns. The rear is what I would be worried about the most as the front seems to be fine with almost all Rollas.

If the wheels you are getting are no wider than 7.5" and have the same offset as the TRD wheels then you should have no problem with them after you cut the fender lip...

You can Run 18s on an 03+, but as mentioned the fenders will have to be rolled to keep the tires from rubbing a little.
