well..in MD if it's lower than stock, technically it's not legal ride height.

but the rules are so grey that it's easy to be confused.

To check if you are legal or not... Take a wood block the exact height of you tire up to the rim... That is, the distance between the ground and the rim.

Take your new wood gauge and run it around the car. If the block hits anywhere and does not pass between freely, you are outside the legal limits and need to raise the vehicle till the block does not hit. Regardless, if you are that low with 50 series or lower tires, you're not going to be able to drive without trashing your cars body or undercarriage.

BTW... If you hit with a pack of cigarettes then you'd never get out of the driveway to begin with That is unless you live in perfect street USA and everywhere you go is perfectly flat. But then I'd hate to be in perfect street USA when it rains...
