04 corolla S question about lights

Ok, I don't know technical names because I am car illiterate so I have to use stupid people terms. I hope someone can understand what I am asking.

Is there a way to take the orange piece by the turn signal out of the headlight? Also, what kind (brand name) of light would you recommend to get if I wanted to have a more "white" light for a headlight?

You can't take out the orange piece, you need to buy new lights instead, but they are cheap, search for 2004 Corolla "clear corners"

As for a "whiter" light you can try Silvania Silverstars.

yes you can, I did
It's like an hour and half job, but it's doable.
