Driver's side mirror question

I have an 89 corolla and the driver's side mirror is broken.

It's manual with the lever inside to adjust it.

Was this the same from 88-92?

Anyone have a black one from a parts car and want to part with it for a fair price?

Thanks.

bdgood,

From what I am discovering 88-92 is the same for many parts.... hopefully by me responding and BTT the thread some more experience people might advise. As far as finding the mirror check out eBay.... for sake of simplicity I have already provided the keyword links below just click them and it will send you to the eBay search results page:

I hope that helps you and again I hope by BTT'ing the thread maybe someone with more experience can confirm the years on the mirror.

Thanks. It's funny that you replied when you did. I actually decided to search ebay yesterday and found that mirror. Then I used google and found several others. I don't know why I didn't check those places first. I think I did but wasn't searching correctly the first time with the right key words. Anyway, I found one for $30 plus shipping at www.autopartshopper.com.

Thanks for the reply.

I understand that by BTT you mean send it to the top but what does BTT stand for?

I still need some parts for my fuel door and haven't seen an 88-92 at any junk yards so if anyone is reading this post and has a parts car please let me know.

Thanks.

bdgood,

My local junk yard has quite a few 88-92 corolla's. What parts are you looking for exactly? Also BTT means back to top.... meaning back to top of page.

For the fuel door, I need the spring thing that springs it open, and also the bracket piece that holds it shut(the piece with the hole in it that the little rod goes into to hold the door shut).

I removed these pieces when the door refused to open and now I can't find them so my door opens and closes when I go around turns and it's really annoying.

Small parts, should be easy shipping. If you can get them please let me know....Thanks.
