2004 LE sunroof noise

Brand new. Factory sunroof.

The sunroof makes a wind-roar. From the front, I can see a space under popup aluminium wind deflector, and surmise that wind gets under that and makes a racket. A big racket.

Back to my dealer - he says he can't adjust the popup wind deflector, it is a design flaw. He says Toyota hs not yet made for sale a plastic add-on wind deflector for sunroofs for 04s. He says the 03 plastic add-on does not fit the 04s.

So, the sunroof is unusable at speed.

Any advice?

i'd try out some of the other cars on their lot, only way you'll know if they're bullshitting you
