Lowering Springs - The effect on the ride for the Driver/Passenager

I am thinking about putting in Tokico performance struts and Eibach lowering springs 1.3". My concern is that in spending all this money I may not like the ride of the car. I was told that the ride could be very harsh after doing this (would feel the bumps more then before). I run 205/16/55 in the summer and 195/14/60 in the winter.

Also, what is the gain of putting in a upper strut tower brace? It was suggested to me that I can corner better at high speeds. Is there any other benefits?

Thank you in advance.

It'll ride rougher but you'll probably get used to it after a while. Your tires have a good enough sidewall so it shouldn't be too bad.

Strut tower braces just stiffen the chassis up a bit for cornering. Little more responsive.

the drop you're considering is subtle enough that you'll not feel it AS much...but you picked a good brand of strut.

The ride will be a bit more firm, but it's a very livable combination.
The strut brace will help with turn in, and stiffen the chassis.

I ran into a big sale on Vogtland springs and Koni shocks I found on Fatwallet..
www.purems.com/products/specials.php

I emailed them on my Camry springs, and they said the sale works on those too.
