Bad ground? The alt is pretty easy to pull on the AE92 right? If so, pull it and take it to Canadian tire and they'll test it for free.

Hmmm... I'm hoping its just a bad alt ground.. I just cleaned out the terminals on the battery today and the light still on.. only when I'm at low rpm's though.. after I drive above 3000 for a minute, the light goes off.. but then it comes back on when I drop under 1000. I'm gonna try to look at the alternator tomorrow when I can actually see anything.. its too dark now.

I will give you my old one after I'm done if yours is non working also.

Yea, alt is dying.. that light means that the battery is putting out more juice than the alternator. (As in the battery has a higher voltage than the alternator.. which means the Alt isn't working properly and it isn't charging the battery at those lower RPMs either)

Well.. its funny how after I went to the wreckers and bought a used alternator for $57 CDN, the fuking battery light went away! well I just hope it doesn't come back.. I'm knocking on wood as I type this up. At least now I have an extra one just in case.

BTW, anyone looking for AE92 parts, including skirts should check out PS Autowreckers in Ajax ON. They had an 88 AE92 GTS that still had the seats and other things inside. the center console door was no good, and the dash was all there. 207,000 km and it got junked. Motor was still intact. side skirts were in good condition. Hurry cuz I think they're compacting their cars as they might be moving to another location.
