Headlight bulb replacement
I have an 86 Corolla LE sedan. I was under the impression that when you replace the bulb, it consists of the whole housing and bulb as one piece; hence sealed beam. However, upon inspection today, the bulb pulls out of the back of the lamp as if it were like the 9007 version for Hyper White. I was checking this out initially because I would like to upgrade the bulbs for better lighting. Now my problem is, when I do a search for the bulb number 6053. All I come up w/ are whole housings. Am I missing something? But I did happen to find some URL=http://www.autopartsreplacement.com/cgi-bin/apr/index.html?mv_session_id=XyqjmPey&mv_pc=38&make=TO YOTA&model=COROLLA&year=1986&cat=97]Euro Projector[/URL] headlamps. So I think I may just get a set. But I would still like to find out about upgrading just the bulb itself.[
