ceramic headers.

good or not? I'm not mechanically or scientifically enlightened on this area. It just seems that ceramics break so would ceramic headers be good or no?

A ceramic header is not made from ceramic, it is steel, coated with ceramic. It helps underhood temps and helps to keep up the velocity of the exhaust gasses (a good thing). Some people get a header and then have it coated by another shop. A lot of people offer the coating from the factory as well.

Ain't cheap.. and ain't worth the money. If you want to keep the heat in then just stick with ur stock manifold with the insulator..
