1990 Corolla SR5 Questions-I'm Shopping

Newbie here...found a decent 1990 SR5

Questions:

What is stock engine model?...it's not the 5 speed Sport, it's 2 door AT. How's the stock engine power-wise (100+ HP?) it's a 1.6 liter, correct?

Would my Celica's 225 60 r14 tires fit, or are they too wide? Both are 4 lug?

Any input is appreciated.

Ed

no they dont fit...225/60 is way too wide to clear the rear struts.

both cars are 4 lug but the rims will not be interchangable(diff bolt pattern)

power should be in the 100hp range...why not go for a gt-s?

Yea you will definitly want to forget the SR5 .. just jump right to a GT-S or even check out like 90-93 Celica's...

HAHA.. easy to work on till you start mod'ing it.. You'll run into fuckin hell with any type of serious performance mod.. As in saying bye-bye to that hunk of shit stock carb.. Reason 4AF is so "fast" is because the 4AF weighs next to nothing.. an est. 150lb's with the belt accessories on it.. Which is why with some upgrades.. like exhaust.. cams and intake.. it really takes off
