Flip up headlight conversion

Ehh.. with installing the new 7AFE now.. and knowing I will need to do a lot of custom wiring to get some of the old 4AF SR5 coupe shit back into play.. I'm kind of curious about doing a headlight swap.. Get the solid headlights in instead of the flippy's.. anyone know some good tutorials on the job?

heh.... find levin parts..... otherwise you'll be in the same boat as me (although the levins aren't as cool as mine )

same boat? Whats the deal? And why Levin? Oh and if I did the conversion I'd get a set of those Halo headlights for like the 93-97 rolla's.

same boat as in that's what i'm working on (unless you've been living under a rock, i've been custom fitting Silvia S13 headlights, corner lights, bomex S13 grill, and new fiberglass hood on the front of my car)..... The only direct swap is the ae92 Levin headlights.... the S13's are close if you re-make the backside of the corner lamp......

S13 bomex grill replica re-ground to fit the ae92's flatness
S13 corners remade to fit to the ae92 lines

Oh.. I didn't know that was your car.. that explains that. Hmm.. Problem is is doing my 7AFE swap.. i won't have the headlight motor harness or anything of the likes. so hmm like any true engine swap I will need to do a bunch of custom wiring.

hey... just trace the wiring for the headlight motors back to the fuse box in the 4a-f fuse box and then wiring to the switch..... the only difference is that there's a relay (not 100% sure yet, it's still in my car) for the motors to run..... for my S13's i just plugged the headlights themselves in....

yea it won't be hard just goin to take most of the time of this whole engine/gas tank swap just for the wiring..
