60k mile svc? help

Hi all,

i recently purchased a 99 LE automatic w/ 53k miles

i am planning to do 60k miles svc. but, i am not sure exactly what to do.. please help

to the best of my knowledge i need to do these:
- motor oil & filter
- air filter
- ATF fluid
- coolant
- sparkplugs
- PCV valve

how about timing belts and (serpentine belts), water pump and thermo stat?

-------

also, do i need to replace these:

- differential fluid (do we even have this? For a front wheel drive?)
- cap & rotor
- sparkplug wires
- in cabin airfilter (do we have this)?

thank you in advance to help.

-jjc.

Just change oil + filter, sparkplugs and air filter (if too dirty)

No need to change any of these at this stage except if your engine runs poorly or if you have any problem with them.

What I would however consider doing is changing the timing belt, THAT IS REALLY NECESSARY, check a/c charge, check brakes condition (front and rear) and check all fluid levels.

Any Dexron III certified ATF will meet Toyota's requirements, but synthetics perform better.

Though most of us (me included) should change our timing belt every 60,000 miles, it would be quite impossible for you to do, as your engine uses a timing chain and not a belt.
