Toyota Corolla Sedan or Renault Megane

Hi there!
I want to buy a new car, but i don't know what to choose. I decided on 2 models... Toyota Corolla Sedan 2,0 D-4D Linea Sol and the other one is the Renault Megane Sedan 1,5 dCi - Confort Privillege. I don't want performances, all i want is reliability and quality. Which should I choose? Why?
Thank u!

If you want quality and reliability choose TOYOTA ! Believe me I know about Renault quite well, I also know the Megane and I can tell you it is a piece of crap. The only disadvantage for you of having a Toyota is that there are no official Toyota dealers in Romania (I think, correct me if I am wrong) and parts are much more expensive. On the other hand you will not need to change them very often. Btw the d4d engine is awsome ! I have tried many diesel engines and this one is even better than most top VW engines ! It is also very reliable.

By the way yep I know the Toyota choice is very expensive but at least you'll get one of the highest (probably the highest in fact) level of quality. If you can't afford it please at least buy any brand but not a Renault !!!!

Is it just me or does anyone else notice this is a dumbass question??

It's like going into a McDonald's and asking the staff if you should have a Big mac meal with a large coke.. or if you should run across the street and ordering at Taco Bell instead.

I like taco bell more than McD.

If you are taliking about the new generation megane, I would go for the renault. I like my corolla but what I really wanted was a brand new Renault Clio. I test drove a clio here at a dealer and fell in love with. I just cant afford a brand new one just yet.

What about the Citroen C# turbo diesel? I drove that one to and is very quiet and fast. (60mpg highway!)

I love renaults!
