Hi, my name's Deep, I'm new around here, but I've grown a soft spot for the Hachi, but I've got a few questions. I understand that 86's weren't built for straight line performance, but what does a 4AGZE/AE86 combo run in a straight line? How about a 4AGTE running at about 8psi? And what does a GZE swap cost if you do the labour yourself and add and I/C? Thanks for the info...

the GZE swap itself if you do it yourself will cost you
1. blood, sweat & tears
2. patches of hair
3. nights of no sleep
4. bottles of asparin
5. confessing that out of frustration you will offer to sell a half built gze conversion - twice.
6. about 4 months to 1 yr of your spare time
for cash
7. lots of fluids to be purchased, coolant, oil etc.
8. many trips to home depot measuring and returning piping when going out to the parking lot and doing test fittings
9.many yards of auto gague wire when you convert your harness, along with a wire tester
10. then making sure your entire brake and suspension system is up to spec (read:new) to handle the extra power.

GO FOR IT.
