Anyone know if the AE92 TRD short shifter will go into the 88 sedan? Everyone says that short shifters make shifting a lot more pleasurable and stuff, does it really? Because I see quite a few people selling there old ones with like 500 miles on it because they didn’t like it.

Oh and what is the % of decreases in the throws?

ok how about this, the 88 SR5 and the 88 Sedan (both american) have the same engine and transmission right? anyone know?

The shifter will fit, how much less of a throw... ???

The TRD shifter is a little pricey, you may want to hit up a junkyard or somthing and try to get almost any fwd 92+ Toyota shifter before you do that, most of them are interchangible and all 92+ shifters were revised to be much shorter.
