Lens removal?

Anyone of you ever removed the lens of a AE92 light? just wondering how you get that darn thing off.

i'm sure if you bake it off you should be fine...

but i'd have to see a good pic of the light to make sure.

Yes, im trying to do the same freaking thing on my ae86. it will not come off

bake in in the oven, prob at 300 or so deg
but watch it the whole time,and as it gets warm the glue should seperate

And why are we trying to do this? I suppose you mean those sealed bulb type lights right? Making em so you can fit in your own bulbs?

I got it off, naah my car is using H4's... I'm doing projectors

AHH you SOB.. u have a sedan.. that's right. I wish I had the h4's.. don't like the flippies.. kinda annoying with the extra wiring i gotta do for them

So when you baked the front cover off - how did you managed to put off the whole lens element?

I only had the cover, I dont have a sealed beam headlight, those are H4's. So you just remove the glass, then whack the reflector out wiht a hammer.
