Newbie with a 88 corolla GTS

Hi, I just bought a '88 corolla GTS as a fun second car. I was wondering how many other ae92 GTSs' are in here? What the performance following was like for these cars? I will post pictures as soon as I can. It is a medium grey in color. Very sharp car.

There is alot of options for your GTS.
Not as easy to find as Honda parts (anyone want to go to Pep boys)he he he.
You can build a whole honda rice machine out of that store.
For the GTS though there are just as many modds they just cost more and are harder to find.
(the price of having a car that everyone doesn't own) Chivic what?
Go to http://www.Club4ag.com for all the info you need on the 4ag motor and what swaps are available.

I live in Ontario..Waterloo Ontario to be more precise. I've always liked these cars for some reason now I finally bought one. I am more into the looks department rather than performance. I realize these cars aren't race cars but they seem to do GREAT in and out of traffic.

Andrew your car looks tight. Very nice.

I would enjoy coming to a meet to see other peoples cars. My father owns a '98 corolla. Mine may not be the prettiest but I only paid $2000 certified for it. It runs like a top though.

I LOVE the AE92 GT-S! Once and a while someone parks a grey one in perfect condition in front of my building, and it's gone like 10 mins later. :wink:

As for speed, did the AE92 GT-S come with the 4A-GE engine? If so, it's pretty fast to begin with, and you could always drop a 4A-GZE in there for $2000-3000. :grin:

You know, I had planned in 2 years or so to buy an AE86 or AE92 GT-S to play with. One with a really good body and working engine so I can do a 4A-GZE or 4A-GE 20v swap. I'm leaning towards the AE92, since it will be much easier to find one in decent condition.

I can only play with my 2002 Corolla right now, which is fine, but there is only so much I can do without voiding the excellent warranty it has.

Yes, it has the AE92, it feels pretty quick I guess. Good enough for my purpose. I won't be racing it anyways, except for the odd spurt against my friends Civic Hatchback.
