by "cutting the airbox" you mean taking the airbox out and replacing it with an intake and filter right?? or is this something new that I may have missed.

i'm not following either. are you guys saying that someone completely took off the airbox of a carb-ed engine? aren't you guys worried about all the junk it's gonna suck without any filtration system? i dunno man, i ain't sacrificing my motor just to get a kick ass sound. you want a loud sound, go buy a set of dual side drafts, that's as loud as hell. peace!
