Finally...

My car is finally on the road, after being in the shop for a week. All the little odds and in's are done, and my engine is running great. Now it's time for modding. I want to begin with my suspension. Does anyone know of a strut bar (not from the gts) that would fit my sr5. A list of any other possible suspension components wold be very helpful to me. Thanks. -Josh

Why not sfrom the GTS? The GTS strut bar attaches in three spots (2 strut towers and firewall) and an aftermarket one will probably only attach to the strut towers so it might not be as stiff. Plus you could get a GTS one from a wrecker.

Anyway you can get cheap universal strut bar from Ebay.
It would help to know what year SR5 you have.
I assume it is an AE86 or AE92.

Check out the Corolla sticky for parts websites.

Cool man. Yeah it's an ae92 sr5 (boooo!). I haven't found a gts in a junkyard yet around me. I see the holes on my car on the firewall. I'm assuming that's where the strut bar bolts in at. I saw a ae92 with dual strut bars, a GTS bar and an aftermarket one. Would that be better performance wise? Thanks.

Well it would be very stiff that's for sure. But very stiff front end with stock rear end = understeer. So you'd probably only want to do that after adding a thicker rear anti-swaybar and/or a rear strut tower brace.
