I had A/T tires on it.... I really don't think it was more the tires I had on it versus the weight of the car. No need to worry about it now though, not much snow in Tennessee. I can tell you that the car did handle much better when I had my family riding with me adding more weight. I seem to remember though that my wife had an escort and it was much worse.... My jeep however honestly handled the best.

After I started using Winter tires I was fine. I went with 195's vs the stock 175 that came with the car.

Yes it's light but I was passing the 4x4's the last snow storm I was in like they were standing still.

mine slides like hell in the corners like all FWD's do, but as far as straight lines i never have any problems. never failed me once as far as starting goes either and i park it outside every night

Very well balanced car. I go drifting on snow in winter and for a FWD car, its very good. I also tried with a 94 Accord and that car has too much weight in the back and therefore always does a 180 when i do 90 degree drifts.
