you need to connect the filter to the AFM.

it isnt' a direct job..u need a plate that connects the two.

the plate could be had for cheap off a 280Z or you can pay 50 bucks to get a new one in a performance shop

of course i'm going by the install of the intake on a FR GTS..but since the only difference between ur car and my car as far as the engine compartment is only the way the engine's mounted (well, let's use that term loosely, ok? it is FF and FR for u technically anal ppl out there) I'm assuming it's relatively the same setup when it comes to intake installation

Hello Everyone
I just wanted to ask do yall realy pay 50 bucks for an adaptor plate.
Sh*t tell me where yall are at again.
I'm coming to visit w/ a whole box of them if that's the case.
I could pay for the trip just off of the money made from these plates.
I paid 12.50 for mine new.
If you can't find one specificly for the 4ag get one for a Mazda 323 (same plate).
My two cents. C-YA!!

Andrew, should the intake setup for AGE be the same as AFE? Or is the engine mounting different!

Sorry my ghey hotmail inbox is filled as usual. Try again please. It will work. Ummm It's nuthin spectacular. Just the red cone attached to the OEM piping with the adaptor plate. I paid more, unfortunately, for my adaptor plate ($75). You can get a intake pipe custom made from any muffler shop. I live in Etobicoke. Around Martingrove and Eglinton. Once again grandvizar@hotmail.com

Andrew, I'm growing a beard waiting for these skirts!! I still have hope to have them before the next meet cause I'm going to install them as soon as I get them.. Marc, if you're parting with anything else please tell me! And by the way, what's the interior colour of your car??

I started today. I got the side skirts taken off, the spoiler. Im working on both bumpers. The intake is a joke to take off, so consider it done. Im have a question about the rotors and pads. I will junk the car once i take everything off. But how is the car supposed to get to the junkers without the rotors and wheels? Will the junkyard have a flatbed take it away? Cuz that makes it a bit of a hassle. Let me know for any solutions
