I'd pick it up, but I'd be worried about the overall condition of the body. It's probably been in a few accidents. :razz:
As long as the engine runs, and the body is in good condition (i.e. no major or unrepairable damage) that would be fine for now. It would be a long term 4A-GZE project car. :smile:

basically it comes down to this
the car's a hardtop, body needs WORK.. like 2k worth of work at least. rebuilt motor, new clutch, new brakes, (boy do they bite, and man does the clutch grab)
nasty ass tint, GY witner tires on OEM rims.
so on my drive back, the question keeps on popping into my head.
i can get it for less, thta's for sure..it's mine right now, unless i tell him i'll pass...
so do i get it, and park my hatch for some crazy mods time?
or, save the money, and dump it on the hatch...
i only have one car..right now..i was thinking i get the coupe as a al year beater while i work on the hatch.
