GE head for a 7A block

as the title implies, i'm gonna try to put a GE head on my 93 Corolla this summer. before i do, what cars have the GE that will fit on the 7A block. once i figure out what i'm actually looking for i gotta start searching junkyards.

and next summer...the first ever 7A-GTE

(well...if i stumble on some huge sum of money)

I think someone already did a 7agte motor. Anyways, from what I know, late 80's and early 90's corollas had the ge heads and mr2's --> aw11? (don't know the year of the mr2's).

It'll fit, but it won't be the first. And if you get just the head, your compression will be somewhere near 11:1, so you'll have to dump even more cash into it if you want turbo.

for ease, find a smallport NON TVIS head.... otherwise you'll HAVE to get the ecu to tun it, then make sure you have the mess of vacuum lines correctly

you will run into the same issues of a 4a-ge motorswap... including things like placement of alternator, power steering pump, PS lines, a/c placement

there's a 7a-gte buildup being talked about on club4ag right now....
