Rear Window Shelf...

Hello I am new to this forum. I would like to know if anyone has a idea on how to remove the rear window shelf, From a 1991 Toyota Corolla DX coupe. I am trying to replace the rear speakers and can not figure it out. Thanks.

I did this yesterday in my SR5 and what I needed to do was to unhook the 3rd brake light n stuff as it pops up through a hole in the deck and I also had to take out ym back seat to get the side interrior panels off so I could sldie the deck forward, Seemed like a whole lot of work but I don't really think it was. I don't know if it'll be the same for you but you can try, I'll try and take pcis after cause I've gotta change the screws I used to mount the speakers.

I took the whole seat out because They were holding the plastic side panels to the side of the car. After I got the panels out it was mad easy to slide the shelf out.

K thanks again for your input. But I got home from work and my boss had already installed them for me. Also put new brake pads. Is that the coolest boss or what? lol. But thanks again.
