I want to try and sell my ae86 here in Ontario but Im From Alberta...questions

Hey guys, Ive got a 1986 corolla gts that I want to sell in the next few months but Im from Alberta so the car isn't registered in Ontario. What do I need to sell it here. I don't want to go through the hassle of buying the used car package and have it certifified and e-tested since we don't have those certifications in Alberta. I also don't want to register the car in Ontario. I just want to sell the vehicle and work with the buyer to make sure the price is fair to cover any certifications they may need. It would save me from shipping the car back to Alberta when I leave Ontario in August. Any advice is appreciated and if you're interested in a clean, white hachi with a jdm 7rib 4age pm me. thanks

Just sell it as is. The buyer will then need to register an out of province vehicle in ontario, then safety and emission tested. I don't really see how vast a difference it would be than someone buying a used car here. Only difference is where the car was registered.

I may be missing something, but oh well.

Ya but the problem with doing that is he might not get a fair price for it. If it is in mint condition people will be suspicious about the as is part suspecting it will not safty or pass emissions as it is right now.

$200 - safety and emission. You only need to do it once because of the 20 year rule. Problem solved - no more suspicion.

Tell the buyer, you will safety and emission it and then add $200 to the asking price to cover your cost of the "tests".

Yeah I think thats a good idea to work the tests into the price of the car. I'm looking for something in the $4500-5000 or so range depending on what needs to be done. For a clean, reliable, serviced ae86 the price seems fair. what other fun sports cars can you buy for that? That used car packege is gay, what a cash cow, $20 for nothing, sheesh. I was also thinking abotu installing a 2 1.4 inch under axle muffler but I dont think emissions would like that. Ive never had to do emissions so I dont know what would make the car pass or fail?
here is what it looks like
BTW to those interested I wont be seling until end of July or so, so you have plenty of time to see the car, think about it etc, and even get some cash together if you are serious about it. Thanks alot for the help guys, sorry for being such an Ontario Noob

my dad would buy it if its in good shape.. we used to have an 84 LE with dual sunroofs and icemaker.. . After I finished it off like 6 years ago, he's been itching to buy one again... so if you ever consider it, let me know. you got any pics??

i don't think your piping size will affect your emissions result.. as long as all the emissions equipment (EGR, cat, etc) is still on the car and the car tests within allowable limits, it's cool..

Look at my link attached to my sig and look at the engine work I have done. I was afraid that my cams would throw the emissions way off .. kept in well within the limits, my idle was way off but they told me that doesnt matter and they dont care about that.
