I want to install a pioneer cd player in place of my 1994 factory installed cassette player. However, I cannot get the plastic panel off the dash that surrounds the player to even begin to change it. Does anyone know how I can get this off without busting it? Thanks.

Pull off the knobs on the end of the air controls, then pull the air conditioner button out, then pry at each corner to release the clips. Then, unplug the clock, defogger, and hazard light switch harnesses.

I was just doing the stereo at this point. not the front door speakers yet. a back speaker is blown and its driving me nuts. i think i'll replace those this weekend. front ones are good still though. good luck getting the door panels off. sorry i can't be of more help.
