Sure man, Tape!

It depends on the material your cone is made of.

My friend got some nice infinity house speakers with the poly(?) 10 inch drivers and he taped it with teflon tape and that worked great. I also had some house speakers that I got for 5$ at a yard sale, they were paper cones and one of the 12" woofers had a triangle shaped tear in it, so I used skinny strips of duct tape like stitches on both sidess and that worked great too

What material is your speaker cone made from?

I can see how clear nail polish would seal it up but not how it could hold the edges together.

I think fiberglass might be to thick and stiff for this application, but it depends on the material.

Its the center bubble of the speaker...It has a small tear in it. I was thinking a small piece of matting and some resin moght do it. I'd get a new speaker, but i'm strapped for cash right now. -Josh

I believe the center "bubble" is only a dust cap. It is not really a part of the cone, and shouldn't really affect sound quality unless it is vibrating.
Just throw some clear tape on it. Or use some resina dn cloth like you were saying. If you have a big sub with thick materail, it probably won't hurt it to have a little fiberglass on there...
