These cares are pretty cheap! But I don't know if I wanna get a car for $800 and pay money to park just for parts!! The body parts are pretty bad on them as well..

For under $1000, you can actually still find deals - I did! Except the car's body is rusted, but the engine is excellent.

I bought my GT-S for $400. The body is shot but the interior and all mecanical components work fine. Don't be scared off by a little rust always check under the hood.

Yup. That would be me.
But you must admit $400 for a fully functional 4AGE + tranny, all new exahast system, mint interior (minus the heater dials) and stcok wheels (including the dunlope as a spare) is an ok deal.
I got a guy looking in Alberta for a new AE86 (ether just a body or the whole thing). As long as he brings back a mint body I'm set because I already have any parts that I might need.
Also If he just brings back a body I may have some parts up for sale. If he brings back the whole thing I'll try and keep my other one but I suspect that my parents might force me to part it out. But no matter what happens I'm keeping the engine, tranny and headlight motors for sure.
LOL! actually I wan't my next GT-S to look like my old one so if the interior is not blue I'm swapping it and repainting the car just so I can have a 2 tone blue again. I just love that look.

Never say that!!! I payed $200 for my current 86. the only spots of rust are on the wheel well arches and a bit on the rocker pannel.

for three 86's that i've owned, i've payed a total sum of $1400. That means i have 3 spare engines and a sh!tload of parts that i don't have to post whore on club4ag to try to find stuff.

Just keep your eye out and you'll find a gem.
