My friend working at a Toyota dealership test drove one today. He said that he liked it better then the Celica GT-S and belives that it is a little faster so long as you keep it above 6,000 rpm. He also said that even though it is a heavyer car it handles better as well.

I wouldnt say i like it MORE than the GT-S but it is definately an amaizing car. I do disagree that it handles better but handles differently, it is a bigger car so i think it is a smoother ride and which could be the reason it feels like it handles better. I'll post some pics soon just gona tint the windows and probably throw some rims at it first.

KerTiZ what are you drivin now?

Voovoo.Priest what dealership does your friend work at?

But all and all i absolutely love the car and would recommend it to anyone looking for a performance car who is less than in love with a celica.

Jeff

Thumbs up

Congratulations Hatch

My question is, how did you manage to buy the vehicle so cheap? 24,5 is an excellent price if it includes tax and freight charges.

My onlyother question is what options did you choose and why?

At the moment, I'm trying to figure out if it's better to go with a Toyota Corolla Sport or an XRS.

falnfenix - the gauges are the same color as the Matrix gauges. tonight i'll take some pictures of it and post them.

ACEoFSPADES - after taxes and frieght etc it is Access priced at $28,932.55 and there are no 'options' for the vehicle, just accessories, or which i picked up the 'All-Season Mats'

Depends where you are from you might not know what Access pricing is but I am a salesman for Ens Lexus Toyota in Saskatoon so i can fill you in if you like.

And for your question about and S or XRS it really depends what you are looking for, if its performance then there is no question that the XRS - and comparably equiped it is only aproximately 3000 more b4 freight&taxes etc.

Jeff

Hatch...that's cool, aside from the fact that i don't remember what 'Trix gagues look like...heh. it's been awhile since i was in one.

i still like the "stealth" look with the dark plastic cover.
