Hi Guys,

I am writing from South Africa, i have a Toyota Conquest 1600RS, 1993 model. the car has 185000kms on the clock, and runs very well. I am however in search of a FSM for carrying out repairs to the vehicle myself, it has an AISIN carburettor, since the car is still running rich, i need some info to get the settings correct.

If anyone has a link to a PDF version of the FSM, it would be greatly appreciated, or even the hardcopy, that i may purchase from somewhere. We have some really scaly dealers here, and they do not seem to know what they are doing most of the time. Anyway, i love working the the little car, and would expect at least another 200k kms from it trouble free motoring.

so if anyone can assist, it would be greatly appreciated.

Running rich on idle or at throttle?
Check the float, if its already saturated with gasoline, it'll be running on the rich side of the scale.
