so far in the pics i have seen, the gts have power windows and lock?? and i have seen some sr5 with it too. are those stock for the gts and is this stock for sr5 or is just an option for each? or both?

I still haven't seen any 88-89 GTS with pwr windows or locks.. but every 90 I see seems to come standard with pwr everything!

hmmmm, awww and i was gonna go see a 89 sr5 in 5 days too

it has a new engine ( a fuel injected one not carb. ) dunno which kind yet, gonna go check in 5 days.

the stock color is yellow, but if i do get it, planning to change color if possible

i know that gts have the 4age which is a dohc

to answer some question here,
they never came in yellow on these cars.
power window/lock is an option
1990 did come non power window / lock

usually, the package were
-w/ac came with cruise control and hard top
-one w/ sunroof didnt come with cruise control nor a/c.

theres rare ones which came fully loaded with sunroof, cruise control, a/c, p/dl/w and CD player, but i've only seen one.


if you're getting an AE92, i suggest ALWAYS go for GTS. don't bother with sr5's, GTS are purely meant for performance. it come with oil pressure gauge, volt meter for battery, which the SR5 never came with.

and usuall;y SR5 are sold for more money than GTS's.

ya, i wish i would get a GTS but its hard to find, and the SR5 im looking at is something i can afford, its got a new JDM engine on it, and it can save me gas too. well im pretty much gonna just make it look good and maintain it well, but if i do see something better down the road (like the GTS). Surely i would get it.

really there was no yellow corolla coupes in the AE92 chassis code?

(it doesnt really matter since i dont like yellow and its gonna end up with new paint) but thats if i do end up getting the car. im hoping to get it though, hahaha

apparently in the states U guys have a lot LESS gts's then us canadians.. TadS and his family drove all the way to toronto to my red 89 gts cause they dont have any down there

and REN69 - U a mofo, that red 89 gts of mine which is now TADS has power windows, locks, sunroof

oh and my 88 - now has daytime running lights, a new chime when key is in ignition and soon power windows and locks

lol my 89 gts has cruise and sunroof i love sunroofs really cool and also ive only seen 2 ae92's that are yellow so id have to agree that they did not come factory with yellow paint they look kinda cool with yello paint lol id like to have yellow but i wanted sumthing diff so i went with original 2 tone paint non of that plastic crap that you snap on the side of your door/fenders to make it look 2 tone lol

sr5's dont have oil coolers either infact they dont have alot of racy parts that the gts has

also i love my gts because im the only one who has one except for a POS white one that has a full bra on the front that just looks ugly as hell so i think sum old guy drives it im not sure but as of that i am thee only one so its kinda cool to have a car that nobody else has around town DAAAmm i wish i had power windows and locks hehe

Mine has AC, cruise and pwr mirrors. but no pwr locks or windows.

My sr5 has AC, cruise(but it doesn't work), power mirrors, and a sunroof(doesnt work either) but it doesnt have power windows or doors.
