what the heck is this 89 4a-f

Next to the battery, front left sitting side. what are this doohickeys. And has any one on here swapped a 4a-GE in to a 89 SR5 with a 4A-F. I want to get a feel for how difficult it is going to be and if there is any thing I should know before doing it.

well, if they weren't plugged in before... then don't worry about it... it's something your car didn't or doesn't have....

doohikies

Those connectors probably have something to do with emissions. Maybe turn your car on and check them with a multi meter. If there's no juice, I wouldn't worry about it to much.
