2004 h4 bulb conversion

hi

just a quick question

i have a standard 2004 corolla and want to convert the standard headlights to the h4 non hid type

i followed instructions from the importer..just to take the output from the high and low beam wires and run these to the h4 lights

no successs only thing that happens is that high beam is permanently on

do i have to use isolation relays to make the h4 lights work??

or is there a special way of setting these up

any help would be greatly appreciated

is the 2004 corolla even h4, I thought its H7.
But no, you cant just run the high and low beam wires to the bulbs, you need to figure out which is the high, low and ground, H4's are three prong lights. Besides the H4 should be a direct 900X bulb conversion, the bulb is generally the same.
