Me and my friend are working on two 86's... We're going for trueno hatch, and a levin coupe. Unfortunately levisn do not come in coupe in Toronto... at least to my knowledge. I've seen a coupel of 86 sedans, fwd, but with a Levin-looking front end. What I'm wondering is, would it be possible to put the front end of that car onto an 86 coupe? And, is it really a levin front end?
"Unfortunately levisn do not come in coupe in Toronto... at least to my knowledge"
Levins did not come anywhere in north america. We only got truenos. And just fyi doing the levin front end conversion cost a couple hundred dollars ($1000-2000 i think, maybe even more). There are better things to spend your money on than looks (unless your a ricer)
re-read the responses a little more carefully.. levins were never sold in n. america, so if you want a levin front, you'll have to get the parts imported: fenders, front bumper, hood, lights, grill, etc
and what do you mean "is there any other way to do it"?
if you want a levin front, buy a levin front. that's how you do it.

besides spending A shtload of cash, is there any other way...?
there's no cheap way to import parts from japan, if you care about how the car looks that badly you better be prepared to fork out some cash.
Unfortunately for you, doing a levin front end conversion means you'll have to source either a front clip (easiest to do but expensive) or painstakingly find each part from any number of resources.
As for scrap parts, there are none in north america, I think the reason is obviously stated above.
good luck.

It is possible to do that project, but you'll need some $$. I have a person whos deals with Import and export and he recently brought a Levin RHD front clip for someone in Vancouver. I was thinking of doing the same thing to my 85' GTS Hatch. PM and ill give you some links!
