Question ae92 wagon: suspension replacement options

first off, i'd like to say sup people i'm kinda new to this forum... and that this forum rocks!!! ppl are so damn funny in the off topic section .. haha anyways

I own a 1989 corolla wagon, that i use for work...
and i'm looking to change the suspension, because the car has 400k's ( oh yeah ) on the body and i don't believe the springs OR the shocks have ever been changed. so i need a replacement

Now my quesion is :
1)can i change them with a ae92 coupe gts suspension?
-or-
2)would salvaging through a junkyard for other ae92 wagon suspension parts be easier

i'm not looking to lower my car 2 much because i carry ladders and it's low eneogh as it is... so aftermarket isn't an option

please help me out guys, any idea's or suggestion would really help me out..

thanks Ped

Go to a shop that makes springs and have them custom make a set for you.

Nah.. go with OEM springs and KYB shocks, KYB are very close to OEM. They're a little stiffer, but they cost less.

Thx for the feed back guys, but i'm not looking to spend alot of money to replace the suspension... i'm kinda on a .. yes budget so kyb's are no good unless i can get cheap ones...

thats why i was asking about the ae92 coupe suspension
basically i just need something that works ... and since alot of you guys go aftermarket with suspension i thought i might be able to get them for a decent price ..

yes, the front strut/spring combo for the FRONT will
work on your car.

but i'm not sure about the rear.

for the front, you'll have to get the whole
housing including the springs since they
are different sizes for your car, but it will bolt on
no problem. also, if it has it, grab the sway bars...
they will bolt on directly as well.
