Front end suspension noise.. clunk, clunk

Recently I have been hearing some clunking noice coming from the front wheels. Is not loud but annoying.

You can hear it when going over pebble roads or rough areas on the pavement. I noticed it really bad today when driving around a fast food driveway. I was drinving around 5mph and it made a lot of clunks everytime the car whent over iregularities on the concrete.

the suspension "seems" normal. I am taking my car tomorrow to get the rear brake pads replaced and while at it I want to check the suspension. But what should I look for? Is there any kind of bushing that might need to be replaced? Keep in mind that my car has 99k miles.

Well my car drives fine. I have not noticed any steering ( no wiggling) or suspension problems. Its only that it is making this noise. I will still have the balljoints inspected.

The front brake bads are rattling too. I cant wait tomorrow to get this looked at and hopefully fixed.

Well I took it Saturday to the shop. The problem was easy to spot. As soon as they lifted the car we could see that the front right strut was just dangling in there. We first thought that the 3 bolts that held the strut to the chassis were gone. But after we opened the hood we realized that the rubber strut mount was completely torn. I looked like a donut.

They had on of these supports in stock. Parts and labor was US$ 37 including tax and a Pepsi. They also inspected the brakes and readjusted the emergency brake.

Now my car is all quiet again!!!

Thanks you guys for all your suggestions.

haha.. I was gonna say it was the strut mounts too.. how many times have I said that before. the struts always clunk if your mounts are gone and you drive over bumps.
