Just visit this Australian guy's page... there's tonnes of detailed information on how to do this. However, I do not recommend bringing the non 20V 4A-GE that much HP for the street.

I was under the impression that bill knew **** all. Allot of guys on Club 4AG have criticized some of his unusuall claims. Also to my understanding he was banned from Club 4AG 2 or 3 times. Once I read he claimed that he had the fastes 4 cylinder in the world. Allot of people have said that he is knowlegeable in racing modifications in general but not in specifics.
Besides I don't even think he had a 4AG under his hood unless he swapped. Last time I was at his main page.
Yup he still doesen't have a 4AG. "Single cam 4A-C 1587cc engine. ~75hp (?) 6,000rpm red line" This is what he has under his hood unless for some unknown reason made up a new page for his car without updating the other.
I suggest you just forget everything you have read.
And with a this quote "I first saw the AE-86 in Australia in 1983" suspision should be raised.

not only that, but read his hp claims. He basically undermines the fact of generating over 200hp out of a 1.6....ummm hello??? Jarod Silvers....300hp all-motor? 7:1 comp for a turbo to generate 300hp? umm.....drag guys do it on 10:1 comp!!! (mind you thats with methanol but regardless...the majority of guys can do it on 8:1 or even 9:1 with half the mods that mr. sherwood claims).
I think bill knows cars...and he knows how to build them and how stuff works. But does bill know how to TUNE a car? i think not.
Well, I planned on keeping my AE-86, known as a 'Sprinter' in Aus but a Corolla everywhere else in the world, standard, but after a couple of years - late '92 - the old urges overcame me and I rang around and found a 4A-GE twin cam and gearbox from a Japanese AE-86. It took me about a week to fit it all in, with the only the exhaust work being done outside my workshop.
so to answre ur question, he's got a bluetop in it.
maybe ya should READ
