Question Looking For CF Hood & Trunk

Could someone please point me towards a manuf who makes a carbon fiber hood and trunk for a 2005 Corolla XRS (i would immagine it is the same as the 03 - 04). I cant seam to find a manuf who makes these or a decent body kit for that matter so i think i will make my own but any help with the kits or the hood/trunk would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

Not sure about that. He specifically lists the VIS CF hoods and they seem to run about $50 more.

I can't help you with the trunk, but I can help you with the hood (plus you can also help us). You can get a VIS OEM hood for the 03+ Corolla for $320, but possibly even $300.

I heard that depending on the manuf the edges on the CF hoods are 'week' and tend to crack

anyone else hear this?

if they're rolled, they're a lot more likely to stay in one piece. cut hoods will crack easily.

as far as the trunk is concerned...i know of only one person who's got a CF trunk...but it's overlaid, not fully CF. you could always order a sheet of carbonfiber and do the overlay on the trunk yourself, as a less expensive option.

The reason for the CF isnt 100% for the look - its actually primarily for the weight - but I dooo love the look
