update on my 2 cars

just a quick picture recap....

-skirts on the ae92
-aw11 front springs have one coil cut off

sad that the mr2's front sits lower than the corolla with over a grand in suspension

not too much to show here..... same ol same ol

let me remind you what the mr2's engine bay looked like when i got it:

pretty bad, eh?

-removed cruise control
-several painted parts
-removed ALL a/c
-removed EGR
-swapped all vacuum lines (removed the rusty metal lines)
-new alt

i'm loving these skirts... and for $11.50 a side, well worth it

stripped even more now!

-white spots on the mr2's spoiler is where i removed 3rd brake light... holes will be covered in glass soon... rust will be fixed on car, then repainted flat black... sidevent will be modified (or new one made of glass)
-have a (not great shape, but oh well) red/black raceseat in the garage to go in when we make brackets to use the stock sliders...

pullapart.... was looking for those damn things locally for over 4 years.....

um.... well today i just picked up some more PVA & fiberglass... so, all i gotta do is fix the broken bracket on the passenger side corner light, fiberglass the fenders to form to the lights, and reform the hood to the lights..... then bondo the edges (since i didn't make it quite right).... sand, primer, & paint

sounds like a lot, i know... but in reality it's nothing in comparison to what i've had to do on this complete pain in the ass of a front end (although, it looks good )

yes it is...... only a waste in your mind.... you all of the sudden picked up that it wasn't a levin.... which is what i wanted.... especially since IMO the levin front end looks IDENTICAL to the sedan front end.... and it just take the sportiness of the car away..

yes, these lights do this a tad as well..... i understand that... but these have a much wider overall length and aren't as tall as the levin lights, making them more aggressing looking (yet, go with the lines of the car well) plus the levin lights aren't projector lights....

if this is the first time you've seen/heard of my ae92, man... where have you been?
