Question corolla 03 or 04 or 05?

how can you tell the difference(exterior, interior, engine, etc..) between the Corolla (ce, s, le) 2003, 2004 and 2005?

Well i think that was the year of production my friend..
If i'm not mistaken...
the only main difference that you can see very obvious is the Engine Number... Try to look at the Engine Bay...
Model side please check at the web site... they can tell you the engine with the Car model in year...

2005 is a facelifted model w/ new front grille, wheel cover and new seat material.

2003 is the one w/ black colour side moulding (CE).

2004 is the one w/ body coloured side moulding (CE). S and LE stays the same.

Perry is right about those details. The interior differences are fewer though. 05 has a different radio, the guages are different, there are more indicator lights for the airbag and seat belt. The LE has the Optitron Guages. There is a third head rest in the rear.

I saw an 05 radio...compared to an 03, it's like comparing chocolate against sh*t. The 05 radio has the text reader, 6 cd changer...overall it's just better. MUCH better.

As far as the differences go, on the 05s you can see the bumper has changed (i think that's the most significant change on the exterior), in addition to the fog lamps. Basically, on the 05 the fog lights been toned down to a smaller size, and the bumper doesn't stick out from the middle, it sticks out from the fog lamps, and then sinks down on the center.

Personally I think the 05 bumper/fog lights are fugly. But of course, that's just my opinion.

05 stereo system is a Toyota (or maybe JBL) one while 04 had a GM stereo system in it. The 05 stereo system A LOT better (since I owned both 05 and 04).
