1990 Corolla Dash Board Indicator - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Hi Everyone,
I have a 1990 Toyota Corolla XL. I just noticed a lighted indicator appeared near the Oil indicated. It looks like letter "N" but the center slanting line is not connected to the left and right vertical line and at there's a dot in the middle of the slanting line.

Anybody knows what it is? I don't have the owner's manual since it's not available when I acquired it last year.

Its the choke indicator.

Exactly right, Thanks a lot.

By the way, I still have a problem regarding this car. Sometimes it suddenly stops on traffic or when you are about to start it there's no reaction from the engine, but you can see the battery and oil light indicator blinks when you turn on the key.

The case is intermittent, it sometimes happen first thing in the morning or while waiting for the traffic light's go signal.
