84 sr5 swap to gts

hi guyz... i just got a 84 sr5 coulp std. as a gift...which is carby, rwd.. but the enginez blew.. i was thinking to get it rebuild and i m also thinking of swaping a ae86 gts"16v twincam"

but.. i have a question here... if i get that efi gts motor.. do i need all the wire from that engine /w the ecu and tranny??
i think da tranny should fit in from my sr5... but just not sure about da wirez and ecu.. and do i have to mod anything to put that gts motor in my car?/

man.... learn to use english

anyways.... the proper way to do it, is to use a GT-S wire harness and electronics (and fuel tank with efi fuel pump). that being said, I didn't do my ae92 sr5 the "proper" way... but my way is easier since mine started EFI....

I've wanted someone to experiment and see if a modded 4a-c ecu would run a 4a-ge with a carb setup on it.....

well.. it's hard to find a motor with wire harness and ecu ....
wut will happen if i plug a carb ecu into a efi engine???

Your carb ECU won't have any control on injectors, cold start injector and any other EFI related function.
