redline question

my five speed 87 rolla didin't come with a tach so Installed a cheapo one...where does the redline start at? I was thinking 4500 or so since I have a 22r also but I've pushed it 5500 or so and the motor still sounded sweet...

87 corolla has a 4a-c.... not a 22r

should be around 6200 like a 4a-f

sorry I should have clarified, I know it's the 4a and not the 22r. I had meant that I expected redline to sit lower in the range like the 22r...

anyways, thanks for the info...gives me a rough idea where to set the redline identifier on the tach.

i think it's around 6250 like toyotaspeed90 said, but i'm not 100% on that
