Where did you get the wheels on your grey AE86? I want a set of 14" in black too.

Oh sh**! Don't I look like a goddamn fool now. Sorry guys, I have collection of gray AE86's on my PC and I took the wrong pic. This is in fact Motop's Gray 4ag 20valve. Bare in mind that this album was done fast.
There's not that much desert in Montreal..he he he.
I was also wandering why some of you guys were begging to get those original rims?!?...
I'll make the correction.

Played around with my album. Seems I have copied over my pics with other pics, the red one is ok though.
Tell me if it's right...

I'll scan my Gray Hachi pics again. I'll also take pics of my longchamp XR4's too.
Not selling those BTW! he he he...
Some history:
The red Hachi's rims are for sale. Since that picture (when I bought it) I've had a roll cage installed and a bought a pair of original rims + has some original decals done on the sides. The red has a rebuilt and modified J-spec 4ag (TVIS), the gray a rebuilt and modified 4ag (TVIS) and the white a stock rebuilt and modified 4ag (red top).

I'm going to check out a set of those rims tonight. If they are in good condition, I will take them. I like that style because it's the same rims on Initial D.

What kind of rims are you getting? The one on Takumi's AE86 are Watanabes. The panasports (in Corolla90s album) look similar but are quite different. Black racing rims also look similar to the Watanabes, but if you are looking for that true Initial D replica look, Watanabes are the way to go.
Good luck, let us know if you get the rims. And remember to post your pics.
All is clear to me now. I was wondering how you got your hands on Moto-P's car.
Wow, that silver AE86 with the longchamp is clean! Those are longchamps, right? And also the kouki front bumper. Wow, what a difference that makes heh!

Yes, I am an Initial D mania.
Thanks for the input, I don't know what I am going to get, I just want the wheels in that style and the most important thing is they need to be CHEAP.

The Panasports shown in Corolla90's photo album are quite popular among vintage car owners (you'll always see them on Mini coopers for instance) And I can't imagine them being cheap at all! Unless you are able to pick up a set of used ones.
Watanabes (from Initial D) are nowhere close to being cheap. There was recently two sets of four rims on sale at http://www.jspec.com/. They had a set of four 14 x 6.5 for $900USD (including shipping). I know a place in Southern Cali selling two 13" for $200 USD (Add shipping).
Your best bet is to look for black racing rims. But they are probably as obsolete in Canada, as the Watanabes. They are also heavier compared to the other two mentioned above.
An example of black racing:

Hope this helps,

P.S. How were the rims you saw tonight?

I found a set of black mesh wheels in 15" and I think I will get them. I need to sell two sets of wheels now, one is the gold OE rims from my car and the other set is a set of old Celica rims.

There's a damn clean old beetle parked near my work with 15 inch silver Panasports. They're kind of a rare sight here in Montreal. The beetle used to be registered in Cali, that would explain why.
mmmm....wonder if he's selling?
