Help!

I have an '85 Corolla GTS and discovered and oil leak in the oddest (I thought) place. I have oil dripping from the rubber intake tube behind the air meter (engine side). I looked at my air filter and I had some oil on there but it was like chocolate milk! That means coolant and oil mixing, right?

I do seem to be using any more oil than usual nor is the coolant disappearing that I can see.

What could this be? Is there a PCV valve that's stuck maybe?

If worse comes to worse and the engine dies, where can I get a JDM one? I'm in Niagara Falls but I hear that there are quite a few places in the GTA to get one.

Thanks!
Aldo

OK ...

I meant one of those low mileage 4age from
Japan and as "drop-in" replacement (if they are in fact different?).

Where have you Toronto guys gotten engines from in the past? Any places to stay away from?

Thanks,
Aldo

just look for poor condition 4ages...chances are you'll get your best bang for your buck.

there's a sh*t box 86 by my ouse...i'll see how much he wants for it...if anything we'll split it...you take engine, and i'll take the other sh*t.

Hey

That would be great!

What sort of numbers should you get if you do
a compression test on a 4age in good shape?

Has anyone else has good success with junkyard motors?
