More SR5 questions

What are some things that can make my car accelerate faster? I have a 1988 Corolla SR5 with a 4A-F. I know the best thing to do is do an engine swap but I don't have the time or money to do that right now. Any possible help is great. Thanks.

I know they aren't exactly cheap but what are some things that I can do without doing an engine swap?

You can try using a ram air induction, try runing your intake to the front of the car behind the front bumper. and also change the exhaust. thats what i did with mine.

I forgot it was carbed, but I'm sure you could run some dryer hose to the fender or whatever to get some fresh air to the filter.

You can fit a K&N cone using few adaptors and pipe. I did that on my 4A-F, before I did my carb mod.
