Hey, I just came some 4ag camshafts and cam gears off a stock ae92 gts. Is it possible to put them in on my 4af head? Would it be a good idea? What other mods would I have to do to make this work properly? Suggestions or advice please.......

if you really want you can swap the whole head of the 4a-fe into a 4a-ge.... but the bottom end still won't be as strong as a 4a-ge and it's not worth the troubles and money it would cost..... if you have a 7a-fe that's a slightly different story because then you'd have a 7a-ge when you're done

nah, u'd end up with a 4age head on a 7afe bottom... the problem with that though, is that to make the 7A, they shortened the conrod length - in other words, they stroked it - to increase the displacement and in turn weakened the internals. 4A-GE head on a 7A block is never a good idea..

Oh.. and back on topic... the cams wont fit. the F heads have a slightly narrower valve angle, so the cams just physically will not fit.

the cams themselves would fit, if you took the attachment for the beltwheel off.. however, the G cams lack the scissor gearing.. so it wouldnt turn.
