sr5??....??please help me

I have a friend with a 1986 corolla gt-s and i was wondering if the 1989 corolla sr5 that i was looking at has the same 1600 twin cam engine cause i really like that engine but rear wheel drive is bad for me cause i live in toronto and we get too much snow for Rw drive...thanks

I've survived 3 winters with a RWD.... no problems if you know how to control the "oh so fun" skids and slides...

It doesn't but an 88-91 GT-S would have it and be FWD

^^^ 88-89 had a very similar motor... 90-91 had a very similar (but better) motor
