Steering Wheel Leather Wear

My steering wheel (AE110) is "chipping". The leather is coming off in little patches. What can I do to replace it? I don't like it looking like that!!! I'm gonna assume this is regular wear and tear but chipping though?

Doesnt have airbags, so dump the old wheel and get a Sparco or a TRD one

Can't... Does have airbag.. As a matter of fact, Dual airbags... So aftermarket is not an option. Are you tellin' me there is no simple remedy? That is, the doesn't involve purchasing a whole new steering wheel or removing the wheel off the damn steering column? I mean, if I gotta live with this.. I guess... But, my Toyo is to special to have it lookin' anything less then pristine....

Well, TRD does offer one with an airbag. If you can sell your old airbag to a bodyshop, you can pick that one up.

btw, if you have a North American built Corolla, it's a ZZE110

If you can get custom leather seats...you can get a custom leather steering wheel. Ask a dealer who they deal with to get leather installed.
