Hello

I do not know much abouy my Corolla ... but i have been on Mazda forums and there are a lot of upgradable parts that can be swap in from other model cars.

- Calipers
- Master Cylender
- Suspention
- LSD
- Fans

Is there a FAQ or swap quide of some sort for the AE86 GT-S ?

I've heard of RX7 brake and head light conversions. I belive you can also take an eletric fan out of a nissan and install it in a GT-S. Other things I've heard are using a Volvo radiator that is twice as thick as the stock and using the rear axles off of a supra.

There is some stuff here.

Everything else can probably be found on Club 4AG. Just use the search before asking.

Re: Info: AE86 GT-S Swapable / Upgradable Parts

Toyota have lists of parts that are interchangeable from other models of cars, trucks or SUVs. Ususally they will look them up if the part number of your car is no longer available.

Getting them to give you all of them may be a problem.

The FC calipers make sense, but how are the lights better ?

That Nissan fan ... is even older and more rare than the AE86 itself. Where can you find those today ?

Supra axles ... how much beefier are they ?

How about a LSD unit for it from another model car that i can find in Canada ... are there any LSDs that are going to work with it ?

Thumbs up

if you are thinking about putting a new LSD and supra axles....why not just put a whole supra rear end. The supra rear end has an LSD. I've checked it out back when i still had the crazy idea of putting a jz-gtte in an AE86. So i know it is possible to make it work. OH YEAH....the supra rear end is way "beefier" than the AE86 rear end.
